About Marie
Hi! I'm Marie I am a Mother, Photographer, Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor & Childbirth educator. My passion lies in the deep-rooted belief that there is an extreme need for birthing families to be thoroughly supported throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and during the postpartum period. After learning firsthand the immense value of having a doula, as well as a solid understanding and education of pregnancy and childbirth during my own birth experiences, I was inspired to help new families gain the confidence, comfort, and peace of mind that having the guidance of a doula can provide. I bring the experience of being a nanny for almost 20 years, a special education and early childhood educator in Montessori, as well as a photographer for over 20 years. My clients trust in my peaceful, compassionate, loving, & supportive nature to help them feel empowered, informed, and confident as they begin this beautiful new journey. It is a profound honor to be invited into the scared space of birth, and I feel immense gratitude for the work I do! I currently reside in my hometown of Tucson, AZ after living in San Diego for 20 years. On my time off you can find me enjoying my time with my family, hiking, camping, working in the garden or just about anything that gets me outside and enjoying this beautiful planet we live on.
Birth Doula Support
Continuous support during your pregnancy, labor, & birth. I will be by your side to offer loving encouragement, comfort measures, and advocacy. My goal is to ensure that you feel safe, empowered, and deeply supported throughout your birthing experience.
Postpartum Support
Assistance with breastfeeding, newborn care, emotional support, and household help as you adjust to life with your new baby. I provide in-home visits to address any concerns and ensure a smooth transition into parenthood.
